Lead Pastor: Daniel Park
I grew up in Orange County and met my wife, Meg, in college. We met at a trolley stop on the campus of Azusa Pacific and have been together ever since. As a teenager, I was actively involved in leading and teaching. We had the privilege to serve on the staff of a church Orange County for eight years—I was an associate pastor and Meg volunteered in the nursery ministry. In 2013, we moved to the South Bay with a vision to see a vibrant community established for this region. With about a dozen friends, we started Jesus Center in 2013, which has since grown to a loving family of hundreds of amazing people.
My degrees are in history from Azusa Pacific University and Christian Education from Talbot Theological Seminary. Meg was born in New York and grew up in Japan (she's a hapa), and has earned a bachelor's in social work from Azusa Pacific University. Meg oversees our beautiful worship ministry. We have a 5-year-old daughter named Eden who is the joy of our hearts and a new baby boy named Luke.
Random facts: Laker loyalist, Peet's junkie, an endless question asker, a wannabe jogger and a washed-up baller.
Hope to meet you in person at one of our services! Would love to learn more about you!
Executive Pastor: Jeremy Anthony
Born in Minnesota, I spent most of my childhood and teenage years in New Zealand as both a missionary and pastor’s kid. In high school, we experienced a school revival with almost daily prayer meetings and several students being born-again. Hundreds of non-Christian students would come to our Christian events. After high school, I served as the youth pastor at West Auckland New Life, where many of the students attended church.
After college (master's degree in computer science from Auckland University) and working in the secular world as a computer consultant, I felt God leading me to full-time ministry and attended Bethany College of Missions (B.A. in Bible and missions).
In 2003, God led me to Los Angeles, where I was hired as the youth and college pastor at King’s Harbor Church where I served for seven years. By God’s grace it was an incredibly fruitful season, developing a great team of leaders, ministering to hundreds of kids, founding a youth pastor network, and was part of the team overseeing area-wide youth events with students from numerous churches.
Here, I also met and married my incredible wife, Kariann, who a few years later gave birth to our twins, David and Kaylin, and then another daughter, Madelyn, all of whom became my life’s joy and priority.
In 2010, we planted Freedom Church. After eight years of successful ministry we felt God lead us to join with Jesus Center, where I currently serve as the executive pastor.
Random facts: I love attending my kids' sporting events, hiking, and watching sports (mainly ice hockey and football). I especially enjoy traveling with my wife and now as a family. I am passionate about others discovering God's incredible call on their life and helping them see it and walk in it!
Hope to have coffee with you sometime!

My heart has always been for missions and working with children. I'm a South Bay native, except for my time at Biola University for my undergraduate and graduate work in elementary education, with a minor in Bible and an emphasis in intercultural studies.
I met my husband, Sean, at a church plant, where I ran the kids ministry. He got my attention because he volunteered to be my sounding board for ministry ideas. To this day, he still listens and is my biggest supporter as my husband and the best dad to our three kids, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Unity.
I taught at a public elementary school, and when my oldest son started preschool, I had the opportunity to teach at his preschool. After a series of unfortunate events, we moved to Phoenix for two years where God met us and restored us. When it was time to go back home to the South Bay, we discovered Jesus Center in its beginning stages, finding ourselves in another church plant. We were thrilled to find a church that is so strong in the Word and so open to the Spirit of God. We felt at home at Jesus Center.
I'm thrilled to oversee JC Kids ministry at Jesus Center, and also homeschool my kids. My life is always about adventure, and I am always finding myself in unknown and unfamiliar situations. My cry is always, Help me, I don't know what to do! I make a lot of mistakes, but I have never let go of God—or should I say, He has never let go of me and my family. He has been faithful and always there to guide and lead me.
Random facts: Once upon a time, when I lived for myself, I loved traveling, long bike rides, boogie boarding, roller blading on the Hermona strand, and playing tennis. If I had more time, I would love to master singing, piano and guitar playing, drawing/painting and decorating. Currently, I love all things nature and put hot sauce on everything!
Looking forward to working with your awesome kids!
