WE ARE COMING HOME.
BUILDING EXPANSION.

Our church started in an upstairs office space in 2013.

We came with a promise that revival was coming to the South Bay and it would touch all of LA county. We went from the office space to a private school. Then, to a dance studio in Lomita.

From there we had our eyes on our own property, and we found one and began the long process of planning, permitting and building. Meanwhile, we met in the basement area of a church in Redondo Beach. We only had a handful of children at the time.
We started working on building out a warehouse in South Torrance.

In a 7,000 square foot warehouse, we only had 1,000 square feet for children. We tried to create the largest sanctuary we could, that’s what we prioritized at the time. As our kids ministry began to grow, we rented the next door unit on Sundays — which was a theater school for children —which  members of our church ran. Unfortunately, our neighbors lost their lease. And we had very little room for our children. Even our Middle School students had to meet in the parking lot. Before Covid and throughout Covid, we did two services on Sunday morning to try to make it work. We even did multi-site for an extended season.  Our hope and prayer was that we would be able to take more units on 3555 Lomita Blvd, but that door was shut closed.
Two years ago, we had an outpouring of the Spirit, and we were packing  the sanctuary with extended services- all morning and all night.

Even more so, we did not have enough room for the children. So in March of 2024, we moved the church to Temple Menorah on Sunday mornings, because they not only had a much larger sanctuary for us to all fit, but they also had classrooms for the children and a courtyard where the kids could run around. We made it work for a year. But it never felt like home.  The building we built— which was now our prayer room — always felt like home.

When it was time to renew the lease in March 2025, we felt led to not renew the lease, so we could stay flexible for God to open the right door for us.

We moved to Torrance High School, which was so fitting for the time, because we just started going after the High Schools with evangelism and outreach.  The whole worship experience felt like an upgrade. However, our kids ministry never felt comfortable in the spaces we were allotted.

In June, an amazing door opened for us.

We were approached and asked if we would like to take another unit in the business park. We were able to re-active the permit on the corner unit (about 100 feet from our Prayer Room). This means  we can have enough room to build an epic space for our kids and youth, while expanding our prayer room (main sanctuary) .
Our leadership team prayed and we made a few decisions:

1. To acquire the corner unit and use all 7,650 square feet for raising up the next generation, and having a center that will bless  families.
Our kids ministry got the short end of the stick for 12 years. And now is the time to really bless our children’s ministry and our youth ministries with state of the art facilities — where they can encounter God and make holy memories that they will carry for the rest of their lives.

2.  We will work on creatively expanding the seating capacity of the prayer room which is our main sanctuary by 33%.
As the church has grown, we can no longer fit in our sanctuary space (prayer room). Therefore, must expand the sanctuary's capacity.

3. We are applying for the permit on a third unit (another 7,0000 square feet, next door to our Prayer Room). If we can get this permit, we can create an even larger worship space, have offices, and more meeting areas.  We will also have the option of moving the kids and youth center next door.  We will be in possession of our second and third warehouse unit, immediately.

Our first Sunday back will be September 21st.

When we first moved in, we had 7,000 square feet. When we return here on Sunday mornings, we will come back to more than triple that. When we first moved in, we had to share the parking lot with the Hindu Temple. When we move back, we will have the entire parking area because we now have taken  the Hindu Temple. Our teams will have more time to prepare and connect with people, as we will have our own home once again.

1. Pray.
Continue to pray for wisdom for those who are making decisions, because by wisdom a house is built (Proverbs 24:3).

2. Serve.
We will have work days, and cleaning days that will be announced shortly. We are inviting those who want to help clean, build things, move things, to lend your helping hands.
3. Give.
We are believing for 300K to come in towards: 1) Creating a center where we can raise up the next generation and that will serve the families in our church and the families of our community.  2) Expanding and beautifying our Prayer Room and Cafe.

You are building the house of God, the tabernacle of the Lord, a place where people will encounter God, and it will be a revival center indeed, this place will be a taste of heaven on earth.
